System of operated ventilation of a case (PCV)

Models with engines in volume of 4.0 l are equipped with system of continuous (uncontrollable) ventilation of a case (CCV). This system functions in the same way as well as usual operated (PCV), however the management valve is not switched on in its structure. Instead the formed vacuum tube is connected to depression of the inlet pipeline on a cover of a head of cylinders in turned to salon of the car of the party of the engine.

In a tube the calibrated jet of the fixed size is built in. The jet serves for definition of amount of karterny gases removed from the engine. The hose of supply of fresh air from an air purifier is connected to a forward part of a head of cylinders on a cover of a head of cylinders. At operation of the engine air is forced in the engine where mixes up with karterny evaporations. At the expense of depression of the inlet pipeline the mix of air and karterny evaporations is pumped over through the calibrated jet and deduced in the pipeline, from where gets to combustion chambers where it is destroyed.

The system of operated ventilation of a case (PCV) allows to reduce issue in the atmosphere of hydrocarbonic connections at the expense of destruction of karterny evaporations. It is made by implementation of circulation of fresh air from an air purifier through an engine case where it (air) mixes up with karterny gases and via the valve of management (PCV) is deduced in the inlet pipeline.

PCV valve of engines of 5.2 l.

The main components of PCV system are the valve of management (PCV valve), the filter of karterny gases and the vacuum hoses serving for connection of these components with the engine.

For maintenance of quality of turns of idling the PCV valve locks a conclusion of gases from a case at deep depression in the pipeline. At emergence of violations in engine functioning (for example emergence of problems with piston rings) a design of system allows to carry out the conclusion of karterny gases on a ventilating tube in an air purifier, from where a mix gets to chambers of combustion and is destroyed in the course of normal operation of the engine.
