Removal and installation of the traction relay (engines in volume of 4.0 l)
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
If the radio tape recorder in your car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting from the battery a negative wire make sure that this code know.
Disconnect the tire going from the traction relay to the plug of a starter.
For separation of the traction relay from a starter remove a starter and disconnect the tire from the starterny plug of the relay (shooter).
Give screws of fastening of the traction relay to a starter and remove the relay.
For a detachment of the traction relay from a starter give fixing screws (shooters) in its forward part (the Mitsubishi firm starter is shown).
Having removed the traction relay check a condition of a teeth of a gear wheel of a starter. If a teeth is damaged, it is necessary to examine also gear wreath of a flywheel / a driving disk.
