Serviceability check, removal and installation of the case of a throttle
Check

|
- On the top part of the case of a throttle the vacuum hose which goes to the sensor of absolute pressure in the pipeline (MAR) (only models with engines in volume of 4.0 l) is fixed. Disconnect a hose from the case of a throttle and instead of it connect the vacuum gage.
|
|
- Disconnect from the throttle case a vacuum hose of the MAR sensor and instead of it connect the vacuum gage (only for engines in volume of 4.0 l).
|
- Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the fan of system of cooling should be started at least twice). The vacuum gage should not fix depression - make sure of it.
- Slightly slightly open a butterfly valve, having exceeded single turns of the engine and make sure available depression on the vacuum gage. If depression is not fixed, check passableness of the union. In case of need clean it by means of a cleaner of carburetors.
- Stop the engine and make sure of smoothness of a course of a cable of gas and a butterfly valve.
- If there are obvious signs of jamming, check a cable and a zaslonka axis on existence on a bottom шлама and other deposits.
- In case of detection of deposits, try to remove them by means of a cleaner of carburetors or other suitable solvent.
- If cleaning does not lead to problem elimination, replace the block of the case of a throttle.

Removal and installation
|
|
Before starting performance of procedure wait complete cooling of the engine. |
|
|
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the air sleeve connected to assembly of an air purifier and the case of a throttle.
- Disunite the electric socket of the sensor of provision of a zaslonka (TPS) on the throttle case. Mark and disconnect from the throttle case vacuum hoses.
- Disconnect a gas cable (The section Replacement of a cable of gas) and if it is provided, a transmission TV cable (Head Automatic transmission).
- Disconnect from the throttle case hoses of system of cooling. To Zakuporta of the line in order to avoid cooler losses.
- Give four nuts and remove laying of the case of a throttle. Remove from interfaced surfaces of the case of a throttle and the inlet pipeline all traces of a material of old laying.

- Give four nuts (arrows) and separate the throttle case from the inlet pipeline (the engine in volume of 5.2 l is shown).
|
- Installation make upside-down. Do not forget to replace laying. Make adjustment of a cable of gas and if that is provided, a TV cable (Head Automatic transmission). Check cooler level, in case of need make having added (Head of Control and routine maintenance).
