Removal and installation of covers of heads of cylinders

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove air purifier assembly (Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  3. Remove hoses of ventilation of a case and management of functioning of system of catching паров fuels.
  4. Remove from a cover of the left head of cylinders an arm of an okhladitelny tube.
  5. Disconnect from spark plugs candle wires (it is necessary to pull only for a cover of a tip of a wire). It is meaningful to mark previously wires for a guarantee of their correct connection at assembly.
  6. Remove from hairpins of covers of heads of cylinders plastic holders of wires and put them together with wires aside.

Holders try to pull vertically up - they are rather fragile and can be easily broken in case of formation of the slightest distortion at removal.

  1. Give bolts of covers of heads of cylinders.

The part of fixture is not bolts, and hairpins - put on surfaces of covers of a label around installation of hairpins that at assembly to have possibility to locate fixture in a former order.

  1. Remove covers of heads of cylinders.
  1. After a cover obstukivaniye a hammer with rubber brisk, lift it up.

If the cover "became attached", обстучите it slightly for release on perimeter a hammer with soft the brisk. If the obstukivaniye did not help, try to push in a joint between a cover and a head an edge of a shpaklevochny knife and with its help to cut a layer of old hermetic. Do not try to hook a cover the lever filled in a joint is it is fraught with damage of interfaced surfaces.

Installation

Interfaced surfaces of both heads and their covers before installation of the last should be smoothed carefully out. By means of a prokladochny scraper remove from interfaced surfaces all traces of a material of old laying and hermetic, then wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone. If at installation to leave on interfaced surfaces hermetic or oil traces it will lead to development of leakages of oil in the near future.

Metallized (on a metal substrate) silicone laying if they are not damaged are subject to a reuse.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure that carving openings in heads are absolutely pure. For removal of traces of hermetic and restoration of the damaged rounds banish a carving of openings a tap.
  2. Before installation of covers put laying and to heads of cylinders.
  3. Carefully establish a cover on the first head and screw fixing bolts/hairpins.
  4. Tighten fixture with demanded effort in three stages.

VKOEM the CASE do not tighten bolts/hairpin of covers of heads of cylinders more strongly, than it is required.

  1. Further installation as it should be, the return to a removal order.
  2. Start the engine and carefully check it on leaks in the course of a warming up.
