The repair procedures, which performance it is possible without engine extraction from the car Set from procedures of the general repair of the engine can be made without its extraction from an impellent compartment of the car. Before starting to work make cleaning of an impellent compartment and external surfaces of the engine any of pressure head methods. It will essentially simplify performance of the majority of procedures and will allow to reduce risk of hit of dirt and extraneous subjects in the engine. Depending on nature of the forthcoming work for simplification of access to the corresponding components cowl removal (Head the Body) can be demanded. In order to avoid injury of wings of the car cover them (special covers are issued, however not worse simply old blankets will be suitable for this purpose also). In case of existence of leakages of the vacuum, the fulfilled gases, oil or a cooler, indicating need of replacement of laying or epiploons, repair it can be usually made on the engine left on the car. Access to laying of the inlet pipeline, a final collector, a cover of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism, the pallet of a case and a head of cylinders, and also to epiploons of a cranked shaft is also possible without removal of the engine from the car. External components of the engine, such as the inlet pipeline with a final collector, the case pallet (and the oil pump), the water pump, a starter, the generator, the distributor and components of a power supply system can be removed for repair from the engine established on the car. Since the head of cylinders can be removed without removal of the engine from the car, service of the klapanny mechanism also does not demand engine extraction. The same concerns procedures of replacement of a camshaft, a distributive chain and its asterisks. In extreme cases, in the absence of the necessary equipment, without engine extraction from the car can be made as well repair and replacement of pistons, piston rings, rods and shatunny bearings. However, such practice is the extremely undesirable in view of need of carrying out a large number of preparatory procedures and careful cleaning of all components. |
