Establish under the drain union of a radiator capacity of large volume for cooler reception in it. The drain stopper of a radiator on the models equipped with 6-cylinder engines is located in the right lower part of a radiator, on models with the V8 engine - at the left. If it is obviously possible, put on the drain union a hose in diameter about 10 mm for the most exact correction of the direction of a stream of following liquid in drain capacity, then open the union gate (for its turn probably it is necessary to use flat-nose pliers).
After a full oporozhneniye of a broad tank of system uncover a radiator, having provided plums of liquid and from it. Then move capacity under a drain stopper of the block of the engine - on the V8 engine from each party of the block is available on one such stopper, on the 6-cylinder engine the stopper is located on the right wall of the block. Remove a stopper let's to a cooler flow down from the block.

Often the cooler does not start to follow from the block after stopper removal. Obstruction of a drain opening by a rust the crossing point from which is formed at once behind a stopper appears the reason of this phenomenon usually. Punch a crossing point a screw-driver.

On 6-cylinder engines the drain stopper (arrow) is located on the left wall of the block, is direct under a final collector.

On V8 engines the block of cylinders is equipped with two drain jams - on one from each of the parties.

While the cooler follows check a condition of radiatorny hoses, hoses of a heater and all shlangovy collars (see. The section Check of a condition and replacement of hoses passing under a cowl (each 4800 km (3000 miles) run or times in 3 months)).
Replace all damaged hoses and collars.
After a final oporozhneniye of system wash out a radiator fresh water from a garden hose. Washing continue until pure water will not start to follow from a radiator. The stream of water will remove traces of deposits from internal surfaces of a radiator, but cannot deduce from system products of corrosion and a scum.

Disconnect from a broad tank perelivny a hose of a radiator and wash out a tank pure water, then connect a hose into place.
Close and tighten the gate of the drain union of a radiator. Establish on a place and tighten a drain stopper (and) the engine block.
Transfer the handle of management of heater operating modes to the maximum situation.
Slowly add in a radiator a fresh cooler (50 % an antifreeze mix with water). The gulf continue before radiator filling. Add a cooler in a broad tank of system to its bottom label.
Having left a cover of a radiator opened, start the engine (the car should be established in well ventilated room or in the open air). Wait thermostat opening (the cooler will start to circulate on a radiator and the top hose of the last will get warm).
Switch off the engine and let's to it cool down. Add necessary quantity of a cooler for lifting of its level aflush with sponges of a jellied mouth of a radiator.
Compress the top hose of a radiator, having expelled from it air, then, in case of need, add still a cooler. Establish into place a radiator cover.
Start the engine, let's to it get warm to normal working temperature and check system on existence of leaks.
