- Weaken hooks of fastening of wheels, release the parking brake, поддомкратьте a back of the car and establish it on props. Block wedges forward wheels in order to avoid a car otkatyvaniye.
- Remove back wheels.
- Cut off lock washers and remove a brake disk (see
an illustration).

If the drum does not act in film freely from bashmachny assembly, make sure that the parking brake is completely released, then impregnate with getting oil a joint between a nave and a drum and repeat attempt. If the drum on the former does not act in film, it is necessary to take away boots from its walls. It is made by stopper extraction from a board of the brake mechanism. Then a narrow screw-driver take away the lever from an adjusting castor and the second screw-driver rotate a castor, taking away boots from drum walls. Now the drum should act in film freely |

- Take a stopper from a board of the brake mechanism and pass in the opened opening the tool for adjustment of brakes.

|
… press the tool to the top part of an adjusting castor and start to rotate the last down (clockwise if to look at the car behind), allocating for that boots of the parking brake from walls of a nave of a disk (which in a picture it is for descriptive reasons already removed).
|
- Check of a condition and replacement of boots of the parking brake make according to illustrations below. Observe the recommended order of performance of procedures and attentively study explanatory notes to pictures.

All four boots of the parking brake should be replaced at the same time, however in order to avoid a pereputyvaniye of components perform works from each of assemblies serially. |
|
|
- Fingers вытолкнув a clamp from a brake board, hook a forward holding clip, having released it; take a finger and lay it together with a clip in a plastic bag, having excluded thereby danger to lose small components.
|
|
|
- Operating similarly, remove a back holding clip and a finger.
|
|
|
- Disconnect the bottom spring from boots of the parking brake.
|
|
|
- Disconnect the top spring from a back boot of the parking brake.
|
|
|
- Remove both boots of the parking brake.
|
|
|
In a picture the assembly scheme together boots, springs and a regulator is presented.

|
|
- Having compressed new boots together by means of the top spring, establish them on assembly.
|
|
|
- Dissolve the top ends of boots and hook on them for a support as is shown in a picture.
|
|
|
- Establish into place a regulator.
|
|
|
- Make sure that the regulator is hooked for boots as it is shown in a picture.
|
|
|
- Establish the bottom spring.
|
|
|
- Make sure that rounds of the bottom spring are turned down - from a regulator as it is shown in a picture.
|
|
|
- Establish a back finger and holding clip as shown; the head of a finger should sit down densely in the lower, smaller part of an opening in a clip.
|
|
|
- Similarly establish a forward finger and holding clip.
|
- Before installation to the place of a disk check working surfaces of its nave on existence of cracks, scratches, furrows and overheat spots. If any from listed above defects it can not be removed by means of an emery paper (No. 180), the disk should be replaced.
- After installation of new boots of the parking brake establish into place brake disks. Do not forget to establish on hairpins new lock washers of fixing of disks.
- Take from brake boards rubber jams, pass in the opening which has opened in a board the adjusting tool and, rotating a gear castor, achieve easy "prikhvatyvaniye" of a disk at its rotation (see illustrations "Take a stopper from a board of the brake mechanism..." and "… press the tool to the top part of an adjusting castor..."). Now turn a castor in the opposite direction, before disk release - hold thus a screw-driver the regulator lever taken away from a castor. Repeat adjustment procedure for the brake mechanism of an opposite wheel. Establish to the place of a stopper of brake boards.
- Put on wheels, screw nuts of their fastening and lower the car on the earth. Tighten nuts of fastening of wheels with demanded effort (see. Specifications to Head of Control and routine maintenance).
- For final self-regulation of brake mechanisms make a number of braking at movement of the car both back, and a forward course.
- Before starting operation of the car make sure of serviceability of functioning of brake system.
