 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models of 1993 вып. transfer a transfer case to a mode 4L; on models of 1994 вып. transfer it to neutral situation. On models of 1995 вып. transfer a transfer case to situation 4L and fix the lever of switching of modes in this situation, by means of a wire (a coat hanger perfectly will be suitable for clothes).
  2. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
  3. Weaken a bolt in a pin of a rod of a choice.
  1. Weaken a lock bolt in a pin of a rod of a choice (NP249 transmission is shown - for NP231 the picture is similar).
  1. Make sure that the lever of switching of a transfer case is in situation 4L (model 1993 and 1994 of вып.) or in the situation "N" (Neutral) (models of 1994 вып.).
  2. In case of need translate a pin forward or back on a choice rod, then tighten a lock bolt of a pin with demanded effort.
  3. Lower the car on the earth and check serviceability of functioning of the device of switching of a transfer case. Carry out trial runs, having made sure of complete gearing of a transfer case in provisions 2Н, 4Н and 4L. If complete gearing in all three modes does not occur, make repeated adjustment.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove facing of the lever of switching.
  2. Transfer the lever to situation 4L.
  3. Insert an adjusting pro-rate in thickness of 3 mm (the drill of the necessary thickness will approach also) between the lever of switching and a first line of an aperture under the lever.
  1. For adjustment of draft of switching of a transfer case of NР242 of models of 1993 вып. insert an adjusting pro-rate in thickness of 3 mm (the drill of the demanded thickness not worse will approach) between the lever of switching and a first line of an aperture under the lever (fix the lever and a pro-rate by means of an insulating tape or a wire).
  1. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
  2. Under the car weaken a lock bolt of a pin of draft of switching and make sure that the rod of switching is freely established in a pin and the lever.
  3. Make sure that the lever of switching of modes of a transfer case is in situation 4L.
  4. Freely establish a draft rod in the lever of modes. Strongly tighten a lock bolt of a pin.
  5. Clean jacks and lower the car on the earth.
  6. Remove an adjusting pro-rate (drill) and establish into place all earlier removed components.
